Oh forgot to say, there is no code 39 with the new one so it is reading the TPS correctly. So the other computer was bad anyway but this new one didn't the shifting problem.

Thats a big problem with these. They actually has a service bulletin about them affecting all 91-92 4l80e's. So that's where i'm headed next.

Well opened up the plug and sure enough there was the tranny fluid. It wasn't very much but it was defiantly noticeable. I cleaned it all off and plugged it in and drove it with no change. I am taking it to a shop next week and having them scan it because I am about to crush this stupid thing. Any other idea would be helpful because I'm about fed up. Good day to you all.

If you clean it and put it back together it still leaks. And there's probably tranny fluid inside the wires, too. I doubt anything short of a plug and harness upgrade will do much to address the problem now. ~FH

Well I'm having a shop scan it with a GM Tech II. If the harness is messed up will it just show that it isn't communicating right or something? And sorry for the rudeness of the last post it was just aggravating me lol. Thanks for the help guys I'll let you know how the scan goes.

I sincerely doubt a scan will reveal anything more than the transmission related DTC's you already got. DTC's simply tell there's a problem communicating with the part and assumes the communication pathway (the wiring) is OK. That's why a bad wiring connection is usually the fix of last resort. If you notice, the service bulletin on the leaking pass-through connector doesn't cite an associated DTC. Only the visual inspection and call for replacement if it's wet.
I've never replaced an internal tranny harness myself but from what I've read it can be done without removing the transmission. But there's a crapload of check balls that will fall out when you drop the plate the harness runs behind to the solenoids. I'd bite the bullet and pay a good service center to do the harness install correctly. ~FH
