Yes!
It is coming back to me. On the IP - That may be the problem. I am going to check the wires first for problems. Thank you!

The no start happens so rarely I forget all that I have done to analyze. On one occasion when it happened I was able to swop out a fuel shut-off solenoid from a runner to no avail. I am pretty sure I ruled out the unit itself. I will focus on the wires to the solenoid or something like that.

I found a small leak in the supply line before the fuel manager. I think a bubble formed when the IP would pull after a loss of pressure and at start the air pocket would be pulled into the IP. It only did it a total of 4 times over six months. I think all is well now.
Thanks

RE that "2000 RPM" test: I bought my truck with 140,000 miles, got rid of it
with 250,000, and it never would pass that test... still got the same pump, never had an issue with it.

Well that was not it. It has failed to start again. I guess I'll wait the 30 mins. and it should go. I guess I'll try the wiring to the Fuel Shut Off Solenoid or try putting in a chopped off one to test it.

It is easier to remove the snap ring from the bottom of the FSO and take the pintle and spring out than it is to chop the pintle for testing purposes.

This may sound like witchcraft to you all, but I had a similar problem not to long ago. I kept noticing that if I jiggled the connection from my IP to the PMD extension cabling, it would restart. So, being a farmer, I pulled it into the shop and sprayed that connector out with WD-40. Problem solved. It's a long shot, but perhaps...

I think all the diagnosis done before is out the drain.
We need to restart with electric, pmd, etc.
