94 6.5 front accessory bracket picture

OK, I have a good memory, it's just short! I blew a head gasket a few weeks ago and it took the machine shop 2 weeks to tell me the heads were cracked beyond repair and another week to get another set of heads. In the mean time I do not remember how the brackets install so that all the acessories line up, I know, should've taken pictures. Currently my A/C is about 1/4-1/2 inch shy of being aligned and the belt rides on half of the teneioner pulley. Anyone have a good illustrated parts breakdown of the front of the engine or some up close photos? I've been searching this site and the net but nothing comes up clear enought to help me out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for both the quick replies. The 96 is opposite of the 93-95 but a really good photo. The compnine site has great breakdowns, it just shows the same brackets for both sides. I'm still looking, but if anyone has an upclose photo of both sides, the A/C and the alternator, that may be what I need. It's so close to being done I can't stand it!!

I'll try to take a picture of the front my 95 Burb and the brackets. I've got an exploded view from my shop manual that I'll try to load up.

Here's some pics of my 94. They are kind of dark so I hope you can see enough to help you.

#1-- The outboard AC mount. A long bolt goes through a plate that bolts to the front of the AC pump, then through a spacer, then through a cast piece that is the rear AC pump bracket. The bolt then goes into the head.

#2-- These two studs hold the inboard side of the front AC bracket. These are part of the water pump mounting studs.

#3-- This is the rear inboard mount. This bolt goes into the block.

#4-- Just outboard of the belt and to the right of the belt tensioner pulley is a stud. If you follow the belt up from that stud you'll just barely see another stud almost hidden behind the belt. These two studs are the inner most bracket mounts and they go into the head.

#5-- This bolt, hidden behind the power steering pump, is the outermost bolt. This bolt goes into the head also.

Hope this helps.

Don

Those pictures really did the trick. I had a hold down behind a bracket, just enough offset to cause problems. Thanks again!!
