1994 6.5 TD HB/Crank Pulley Replacement

Have diagnosed that at least the pulley is bad, can move the belt an inch or two without moving the crankshaft. Question - anybody have a how to on R&R? It appears fairly staightforward, but just want to make sure.

Do you have a pully? I might have a new one or good one in the tool shed.

Don't have any parts yet. If you have a new one, I might be interested.

Ha! Know what you mean. At a minimum, I suffer from sometimer's myself. Sometimes I remember, sometimes I don't.

Guys... Please do not sell a part or two in the open forums... If you want to do it in PMs... fine... If you want to do it in the Market Place, fine... But not here.

i just replaced mine 2 days ago i took off the top fan shroud its east just 7 bolts and then i took the fan off the water pump then the lower fan shroud off to give me room to fit. then just undo the 4 bolts holding on the pulley. if you wanna take the harmonic ballancer of while your there then its a little more work. then torque the bolts on the new pulley to 30 ft lbs and reassemble the fan and its shroud and your done!

How do I know if it's the just the pulley or the harmonic balancer itself? Mine moves two or three inches and clatters when I shut it off.
