What fuel line size??
I'm installing a Racor filter before my LP, and I want to use steel braided line. I'm going to install it at the hard line junction just past the chassis down turn. What size is the stock fitting, so I can look up an adapter to AN fittings?

Feed is 3/8"steel o.d.,return is 1/4"steel o.d. So that would be 3/8" i.d rubber and 1/4' i.d. rubber connected to the hard line. IIRC.

I've replumbed the system & was confident I'd needed 5/16" return line & yet I'd also used some 1/4". So I just looked to figure out what's what.
The metal return line plumbing on the engine is 1/4" until all the injector returns & pump return are combined in the back, where the final/single return line nub goes to 5/16". Just put this in for correctness for anybody searching in the future. Return line diameters is pretty much academic if you're just plumbing in the Racor If you're set on using AN/braided stainless hose, you'll probably need to cut the 3/8 (-06) steel tube out of the tank, and use a -06 compression fitting to get adapted to using the more common hose ends. As this is such a low pressure system, I just used Summit's generic push-lock hose. Probably most significant thing on this run from tank to Racor to LP, is avoiding any air entry as that part of the system can be below ambient air pressure. On the trucks, there's a nice spot to mount a Racor to the left/front bed crossmember in front of the fuel fill tube - tucks up in there nicely, don't know what options the Burb provides.
