which thermostat? 6.2 or 6.5?

I have a goodwrench 6.5 that has all 6.2 accessories on it.

Do i ask for a 93 6.5 thermostat or an 86 6.2 thermostat?

It currently has a 180 thermostat which works fine, but i want the stock 190/195 as to heat my oil a little bettter in the winter.

If you reused the 6.2 crossover/thermosat housing get one for 86 6.2. I believe the single thermostats are the same. Get a robertshaw.Gm is robertshaw. Others don't work properly on the 6.2-6.5s. I've used napa and the temp goes up and down, not steady as it should be. I use anarobic sealer and gasket. Silicone will leak. The part point sticky should have the part number.
