I was able to find a diesel for parts locally and pulled recently replaced Dual 2.25" exhaust off of it. It's mostly identical to the stock exhaust and I picked it up for $20. How essential is the crossover pipe ahead of the mufflers- stock didn't have it, and neither does this one.

Nice score! I wouldn't worry much about a xover pipe in the stock configuration myself
