Attention: Donīt buy at Hector with Injectors.
Dear Diesel-Community!
Iīm sorry that my first thread has to be a negative one. ![]() Iīm loving American Diesels, had many of them, at the moment a Chevrolet Blazer K5 with the 6.2 Litre, turbocharched, and spent many hours reading technical stuff in this forum. In Austria, Europe, spare parts are sometimes difficult to get, but it works. Bought many parts from inside the States and from overseas and never had severe problems. Since I bought an injection pump last April from a guy who calls himself "Hector with injectors". He didnīt send me the pump until now after Iīve invited him to pay back or to send the pump in hundreds of E-Mails. Yesterday he meant its now 8 month since I had bought the pump, he has no history in paypal longer than 6 months but I can have a price 20% off for the pump. What? Why should I pay for a pump, Iīve already paid? I know this sounds weird, but I have all the correspondence filed and you guys should know what could happen if you pay in advance. In the old world we try to keep our arrangements, mybe Hector thought stupid Austrians can be outsmarted...Iīm looking forward your feedback, best wishes, Hank |

If you used paypal, YOU will have a copy of the payment in your account......

^^^ X2 I was able to go back a couple years in my Pay-pal history.
If you can find the transaction and it shows you sent Hector the money then he should have shipped the pump.

If that is the case then file a dispute with Pay-pal that you never received the item.

If you look under his feedback on epay there are a couple of reports where he was slow to ship and one where they never got the pump.
I would never buy from him based on that bad feedback.

Thanks a lot for your ideas! Iīve done all that and I am sure I will get my money back in the next month. At the moment a lawyer is engaged. But I assume you donīt want to spend your time negotiating with paypal, ebay, Hector, writing hundreds of emails only to get money back and still have no pump :-( Thats why Iīve posted the thread. Just to warn you. If you really want to help me, you could make a suggestion where to get a pump without problems - my Chevy is still leaking and I need the car to go to work. A Stanadyne DB2-4425 or 4502 would be great :-)

True dealing with pay-pal or epay on a dispute is a nightmare,
I never got a refund one time on a monitor, guy closed up shop and epay screwed me by removing the auction, accounts were all closed and I was out 200+ $ I have heard good reports about Accurate Diesel, google the name, they have a website with contact info. Another place is in Memphis, TN dieselcare is their username on epay

You only have 45 days from the time you pay with paypal to be able to open such a dispute. It happened to me a couple of times.
