LOL If money was no object I'd be all over a duramax/allison swap.

bah hahahahahahahahhahhahaaaaaa.... yeah right! 44,s dont get used on the road with my current setup. those tires are square. 42's do when they have to though. no mountain roads here...but i have some hills i run those on and it bogs down pretty bad compared to the mild 302. actually my mild 302 would rip the guts out of this thing. only mountain roads were with 33--37's and its sucky on power but gets it done. cruising through the hills from mi to fla its livable. going across 40 to north/south carolina its embarassing but impressive for what it is at the same time. off road low range is ok. high range is a let down depending on the terrain no matter what size tire.. it took a long time to figure out how to drive it. there is more pro then con overall though. one pro...is that it dont break nearly as much shit as the gasser....it also wont climb half the shit it used to either though. the sbf wont run on used atf though....that just adds to the cost to run difference. i drove a 4bt 2wd chevy and it put me over the fence on what to swap. but i can see it was a bad idea with the success your having in the hills...you have the same aero defects i have and none of the mpg penalty. now i find myself eyeballin my psd... maybe i should be considering the 4bt again

Exactly. But it'd be cool. I had no experience with the 1GR-FE 4.0l V6 Tacoma motor and I tore it all down and did custom wiring and computer work to swap in an auto that'd hold the power. And given the chance to do it again I wouldn't so yeah Uhhh ummmm never mind.

That was only at 327/372 HP/tq@ wheels. Tires were getting DESTROYED spinning the whole track. 1/8 was 9.0 with a 2.0 60'. Never got to run the real qtr with the final set up before I let her go. But the street qtr and data logging was 11.9 and data logging of 1.7-1.8 60's. and that was 91 octane and only 427/464 rwhp etc.
