coolest sounding diesel (at least to me) is the Banks Duramx racing engines.

I really like RCSB trucks with diesels
I'd love to do a duramax, lack of funds puts a damper on that dream.

The more I toss around the TPI swap idea the more money it's gonna cost.

Sticking with a 6.2 swap....

Someday I'd like to put a 6.2/6.5 in a 68-72 El Camino.

Pulled my rear cover today, and found I have 2:56 desert gears.
Had to believe that's the ratio,
But I counted the teeth twice just to make sure.

Here are the number on the ring gear

I would keep the diesel and turbo it, but then I have a fast gasser van so I am biased, lol.

Fluid damper, modified hummer headers, 2.5" mandrel Y-pipe to 3 inch single system, Hooker Max Flo muffler, 3 inch F350 mandrel bent tailpipe-passenger side exit, 6.5L turbo lower intake, 6.5 military IP, new Bosch injectors, HX35W with billet HX40 6 blade comp wheel, ARP studs, .010" head gaskets. Remote mount turbo DONE!!!!!!

1989 Dodge Caravan daily driver, 2.5L TIII DOHC Turbo, GT35R, full load with a/c, pwr windows/locks, full interior and full and exhaust, 3620 lbs, 12.5@104 mph-11's are coming.

1993 CBR900RR-old race bike soon to be returned to street duty

2000 GSXR750-road race bike.

1995 F250 Supercab, 4x4 Powerstroke, needs injectors and a front end rebuild.
