I have a 3rd party (bumper to bumper, 3 year 36,000 mile) extended warranty (covers alot of stuff) & itll be up this coming year. Iv used it once & it ended up costing me an additional $130 (on top of the $100 deductible) to get my door latch/locks fixed. The way my plan is set up is $0 deductible (only @ the dealer I signed up @) & @ any other dealer $100 deductible.

If I could have a do over I wouldnt have signed up for any extended warranty.

Check with your credit union if you belong to one. I believe you would have a better chance of a quality company. Less expensive too, don't remember exact figures but mine was considerably less than dealer offering.

I think Costco is also offering one through a vendor. Probably a good bet as I think Costco vets their business partners fairly well.

Here is a extended warranty company I have used for every new vehicle I have bought the past 10 years.
I've had great service and they will take care of you with NO B.S., and they have paid some of the repairs that the vehicle manufactures won't.

I would NO WAY WAIST MY $$$$ on a GM extended warranty it cost more and it covers less than CNA.
I paid about $2K for my new truck and $2K for my wifes new Yukon Denali at time of my new vehicles purchase which covers 8 years and 100K miles bumper to bumper.

The GM warranty always finds a way to weasel out from paying, where CNA has taken care of the repairs.
It is worth it to at least check them out, IMO.

Maybe not. Thanks.

Read my post again. THEY DID NOT REPLACE 2 of the 8. 6 was replaced and covered by GM warranty as less than 100,000 miles / 5 yrs. Since I did not have to pay, I did not care what the amount but was given a copy and that was the bill!
