Need help isolating a leak, have pics

Hey there everyone
I haev a 2009 CC/SB chevy dmax, and I went to go wash my truck yesterday and when I pulled it out of the garage I noticed that there where a couple of drips on the floor. When I got to my work, where I was washing my truck, I crawled under the truck and sure as shit there was fluid at the rear of the motor/bell housing area. Now the weird part is when I wiped the fluid with a white clean rag it has a clean oil look to it. Everyone knows as soon as you start your truck with clean oil in it it turns black, and that trans fluid is red. So does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?! pics follow.

Here is a pic of showing the general area

And here are pics of the leak

And here is the white rag I was talking about.

Please let me know what you think it is! thanks for your help!

Looks yellow on the rag which would indicate engine oil.

Thats what I thought too but engine oil turns black as soon as you start it with new oil in the motor. So how would it have a yellowish tint to it when im close to my oil change?

And thats a negitive on the taste test. haha

I think its water/condensation. Is it still dripping after driving around a while?

I took mine in for the same thing about 1 year ago, thinking I might have a leak. Was told that GM packs a lot of grease around the crank in that bell housing. As you run the motor it will "fling" around inside that bell housing and eventually weep its way out. I never had a drip, so I'm guessing that is a little water dripping down the side of your block, past that bell housing. I tended to believe them at the time because it was never very a fluid consistency like oil, more like grungy old grease.
