GPH (Gallons per hour) needed?

How many GPH's do our trucks need to the pump? What i mean is how much fuel do we need to the HPCR pump for it to function properly.

Not sure what you mean, but am trying to find out about our fuel needs. Dont take this the wrong way but why would i go back in time for your truck

Gallons Per Mile was what I was referring too. 8.1=gpm

All I remember seeing somewhere it is like .9 gph for a Duramax to Idle.

Idle = .3 GPH
With ac on= .4 GPH
In gear= .6 GPH
Cruising @ 70 on flat ground= 3.5ish GPH
WOT= 18.XX GPH

I liked it too. I'm a little slow sometimes.
I did not mean anything by my post.

Then another question if our trucks only use 18 GPM at WOT then why oo why do the Airdog and the likes flow so much fuel? Seems to me that would cause more aeration and more air in the fuel.

airdog causes less aeration..

GPH not GPM.

Hell the tank would be empty after a minute at that rate.


This is with stock tuning BTW. It'll obviously be higher with a hot tune (or any tune for that matter).
