Steakman, please elaborate on this bypass delete. I would venture to think this is the whole reason mine would not work right

And pics you shall see...sorry bout the delay..and I still would like to take some better ones but ya see, its frickin cold up here and without a 24 X 24 heated garage on site...it aint happening.
However... ![]() In this pic you can see how the unit itself is attached. If You buy a BNIB off e-bay or elsewhere, you will see on either side of the unit 3 holes in which provided studs can be threaded in. I used 1 and went thru the rad support. A PITA to get the lock washer and nut on..but it nevertheless went flippin on.! to the right of that attachment point is where I used a pair of large gear clamps...putting rubber strip underneath the unit and then clamping tight. It ended up being very secure riding on the angle cross brace of the rad support. Fuel line was not at this point attached as you can plainly see..nor were the exhaust (not shown in pic as it exhausts from the bottom), and air intake hoses installed (top of the unit),..for the air intake..I simply ran it straight down and to the back of the truck..using tie wraps to secure. for the exhaust it sits inside a nice slotted area on my aftermarket bumper. ![]() This pic is pretty much self explanatory. You'll notice in this and previous shot the hard turn the webasto intake coolant hose had to make due to the angle of the pump intake tube. to fix this as I mentioned previously, I bought a 3/4" copper 90 deg "street" El (for those that don't know what a street elbow is: (it is a 90 deg elbow that has only one end in which you can fit similar sized pipe..ie: it is flared out to accept piping..the other end is identical in OD/ID to the nominal piping you are using), and soldered a 2" pce of 3/4" copper pipe to make a rather decent fitting to use. The hose I had bought fit snugly over both ends and this allowed me to make that sharp turn without pinching the hose. the hoses do not interfere with the headlamps whatsoever. ![]() For coolant supply, I used the same spot where my coolant bypass "Tee" was installed. So the hose to the firewall is the output of the webasto...the other side is for the intake to the webasto pump. The black formed hose is easily turnable to accomodate the blue coolant. I just released the clamp pressure and slowly turned it to the passenger side. The Red AN fitting is the passenger side PCV re-route port. You will also notice a black hose that appears to be twisted and crimped...it is in this pic as I moved it to the other side of the Trans dipstick to have access to the heater hose..not sure what that is/was..poss an AC hose of some sort...not sure....but after doing up the clamps I put it back to orig position. The old Coolant bypass and filter set up did its job..but I think in the end was a bit redundant...besides mine was seeping a bit of coolant and I would have to add a bit every cpl months. All in all am very very happy with this coolant heater. Blows plugging in away by a mile..!! Hope this helps guys.? theo

Theo, it's hard to see in your last pic, but it deosn't look like you have the egr cooler bypassed. If you don't, that may be where you coolant is going.

Well just in case a repeat of Put-in-Bay is at hand, we have these guys at the hand: http://navalmilitia.ohio.gov/ They are more than willing to issue you a stern warning, and probably local attractions pamphlets..... ![]() That said, x3 Theo. At least what is your best guess on fuel consumption?

-45C No plug-ins
I was over at Petro Can 's SAGD some years ago putting in a site it was in the warmer time of the year. Glad to hear that your Wabaso is working well. They don't take long to warmup equipment in winter.
