Sounds like loping after fuel filter change

My truck sounds like it loping for a little while after you change the filter. Anyone else know this?

Might be some air in the line. Did you prime completely and make sure that the ring sealed properly?

yep, it does it every time I do it. Smooths out after running it.

Yep, could be air in line or air leak as well. Check your fuel pressure also, could have some type of variations that might need to be check out.

Gauge, there is a port on the front of the motor. Dealer can do it pretty quickly or they can use a tech 2. Think you have some line/air issues.

There should be a line Pressure port that you can use, but check your service manual as to where it is. The Burb gauge might work, just depends on high the pressure goes on gauge

its ok, mine does it EVERY time i change the fuel filter, its just working a little air out of the system. change the filter, prime it the best u can, DRIVE IT! i take mine around the block and its good. no worries!
