Need help Code P0673

OK I am new to Diesels and need help with the code and what to do. I ran the code and got P0673. I know it means a "cylinder 3 Glow plug circuit." Does this mean the glow plug itself is bad and needs to be replaced or something else? Is there any warantee that covers this or am I on my own. I can do the work I just dont want to start replacing things that dont need it.
The truck is a 2006 GMC CCLB w 56,000 miles on it.

I got mine back yesterday for #4 glow plug problem. Dropped it off Monday morning GMC dealer ordered parts. Called me late Tuesday morning truck is done.

All eight glow plugs were replaced. I had 100$ deductible. 2006 LBZ with near same mileage as yours.

Oh I do have an extended warranty by the way, however if I read correctly in my owners manual they are covered without an extended policy but with 100$ deductible for 100,000 miles.

And if you have a programmer on your truck make sure it is back to stock before you take it to the dealer.

On a lot of the boards Dodge/Powerstrokes etc. are having glow plug problems. All must have bought their glowplugs from same manufacture.

Last week I had glow plug # 5 go bad and they replaced all 8 . There was no $100.00 deductable either because the emissions failed . I had 42,000 miles at the time .

This is crazy.... there must be 10 threads in the last week on glow plugs.... It's almost looking like an epidemic is plauging our LBZs. Add this to the list with the leaking tranny lines and clunking steering columns.

Now for the good news.... under 50K and alll 8 are fixed for free at the dealer. From 50-100K it's a $100 deductible. Over 100K? You're on your own....

I received a check engine light last week. I had it checked at Auto Zone showing me P0672 code. I took it to my Local GM dealer where I purchased the truck. They replaced #2 glow plug with no charge. I wish they did all eight. My truck is a 2007 GMC 2500 hd 4x4 with 70,000 miles.
