ticking noise at idle after oil and filter change

guys i noticed today after changing my oil yesterday a ticking noise at idle when the truck is sitting on my driveway. Sounds like it coming from oil filter location. it does not do it all the time, just kinda comes and goes. I used 10 qts of Rotella T and a ACDelco filter.

I think i might have read something on here before about this.

What could it be?

I've had that too and mine stops after I put a few miles on the oil. I don't think it is anything to be concerned about.

Search for typewriter tick. Mine does it but I used synthetic last change and not noticed. Was using rotella dino oil before that. Heard some not have it and others have and use the same oil. Just one of those things.

Its from air getting in the oil passages when you drained it.
