Removed turbo resonator..

So I was bored. I decided to take it off and try it out. Well I did notice a sound in the turbo! I though it was just me but my dad and brother asked what I did. But I can't hit over 30 pounds of boost now. Only about 27-29 so I'm thinkin about puttin it back on. But I also noticed a little bit better throttle response. Could have been my mind on that one though. I just need a new turbo!

What did you plug the hole in the intake with? The res is the plastic thing that says 6.6 turbo on it right?

A rubber cap. Called quick plumber or something at home depot. Like three bucks.. Already had a clamp on it. Just threw it on right in the praking lot! 2 inch

Some days I "think" it makes a difference in sound, but it's not really a "WOW" for me. Still running capped anyways, pics in my garage for those unfamiliar with this mod.

I did that on my 06 when I had it and it did not really make any difference..But to some it does I guess.
