I keep getting a P0128 code. Coolant temp. something like that? What could be causing this? Thermostat going bad?

A sensor issue, low coolant level or a t-stat issue.

AGGAR,
I just got it too, and it isn't in the DTC list I have on my Palm Pilot so I came here to look it up.

I was getting weird MAF and EGR codes so I took out my Fingerstick to trouble shoot. That got rid of the MAF and EGR codes except for the 401 which I expected since I am blocked.

I then modified my Duramaxtuner tow tune to get rid of the EGR diagnostics and saw the 0128 before I loaded the new tune. From what I read, it might be a tune-dependent code. I'll let you know if it comes back.

Weird stuff....

The P0101 is a MAF code. Most likely a dirty sensor or intake leak. Try to clean the sensor and clear the codes with your Edge and see if it goes away. Still no clue about the 128....

ok, but why is it coming up? My low coolant light came on and so I added coolant thiss am and there was a little pressure under my overflow cap. I had the turbo changed out a couple months ago and wonder if there has been an air pocket in there?

Me too. Not changed, but R&R; same thing....

Cleared the code, loaded an updated tune and so far (all of 20 miles) so good...
