I have a 06 dmax cc s/b and it wont start. The shifter will not light up, and its all the way in park. Is there a trany relay under the truck by the drivers side torsion key?? and can it be bypassed??
All the lights are working just not the shifter light, and the batterys are fully charged.
Thank you for the posts
What is the NSBU any way?? the problem i am having is that my truck wont start and no light on the dash for my shifter but the rest of the dash lights work. the truck thinks it is not in park and wont start
You will most likely have to call the dealer and have them come and get it. The NSBU switch controls the trans and if it does malfunction then your truck will not start from what I have read.
Search NSBU and you will find some topics that might help you.
i think i would just leave it and haul the 06 with my new 07 to the dealership i sold it to, but i did say it was running and then all of a sudden chit hit the fan go figure. still under warranty though.
has any tcm or ecm connectors been detached for any reason lately? if the tcm control cable has been detached, it may not have been plugged in properly. that will definitely cause what you are seeing.
