I really want to fix and keep this truck but Damn I must have got a lemon, I forgot to mention my sunroof stuck open fixed under warranty and water leaks when it rained, I knew I forgot something in my post, I have a bad #6 glow plug, Last time I was under warranty and the #2 glow plug went out the dealer wanted a 200.00 deductable to replace it, I got an OEM delco glow plug from autozone for 19.99 and installed it my self in 5 minutes, WTF? I really love the duramax/allison but what a piece of crap my truck has been, I am sick of it but what do I replace it with? seems the 06 LBZ is the best of the best, no major emmisions, the highest RWHP of any duramax or any diesel pup made, too bad you cant order a Ford super duty with a Duramax/Allison, I used to think a super duty with a cummins, an allison would be the ultimate truck but the duramax is the best performance wise. Otherwise if I could get myself to accept a major power decrease and noise and a 4 spd auto I would gladly go back to a ford 7.3 in my opinion the best v8 diesel ever made as far as reliability. I bought my 7.3 used with 180k sold it to another plumber friend at almost 300k in 05 it is now close to 600k, a few water pumps, alternators, PS pump and 4 trannies, fuel pump and some glow plugs and a cam thingie I cant remember, I just saw him the other day and he said it leaks oil pretty bad but still runs great, still has the original turbo and engine.

just over 17,000 on my 07. Just paid her off... now it is time to start modding. Oh and the other Great news, just found out I am exempt from emissions testing.
