Converting an 8.1 over too Propane ??

..................This is an idea I've entertained , so has anyone done a conversion over too Propane on an 8.1 ? Might be a little loss in hp\torque but propane burns hotter and therefore a lot cleaner which enhances the longivity of a stock engine ! I realize most folks on here are looking for ways too increase their performance but a propane conversion has advantages . , thanks , ckfan

If your going to do a good proper setup its gonna cost big bucks, that you could just buy gas with. I ve checked so many things on this and it just isnt worth the money they ask for the kits.

TXDOT (Texas Dept. of Transportation) has a whole fleet of Propane fueled vehicles collecting dust in a parking lot here in Houston. Something over 50. I'm going to watch the investigative news report tonight to find out why they stopped using them. They claim it's a waste of our tax dollars and we should be upset so I'll see what the problem is. Lack of fueling stations probably.
