Isuzu NPR Diesel starting problem

1995 Isuzu NPR 3.9 diesel with 140000 miles.I've owned the truck since 2006 always been bullet proof. This problem started several months ago.Came out one morning turned key to start just a solid click, wont turn over.Got my powerstroke to jump it off, turned key just a click, wont turn over.
I knew the batteries were old so I put in two new batteries.Went ahead and put in a new starter.Cleaned and tighten all cables.Took main ground cable sanded and cleaned were it bolts to frame.Started fine 50-60 times.Put in new glow plugs last year so it starts as fast as a gas engine,no hesitation.Came out yesterday to haul some mulch.turned key the solid click, wont turn over.Come back 30 min. later instant start.
I'm pretty sure this is a ground problem that comes and goes. And probably a pretty simple problem...
Any thoughts
Thanks,
Tony

The crimped eye is rotted (at the crimp) on the harness feed from the master starter post.
Battery + to starter post.....then starter post to whole truck fuse panel.

Talked to the shop owner where I'm taking it Thursday. His thinking is the new starter might have a dead spot?My question is how can it have a dead spot then 15 min. later it starts?
I checked the starter cable again today it looks as good as new.
Thanks,
Tony
