Freightliner FL-80 Dual Tanks not drawing fuel evenly

As the title says, the truck isn't taking fuel evenly. It's a 1996 with a CAT 3126. These tanks aren't switchable so I'm not sure what the heck I can do to fix it. Any ideas?? Drivers side ran dry yesterday but passenger side was full.

your vent, probably on the passenger side is plugged. look on top where the lines and fittings are and you should see a short rubber hose hanging, or something to that effect. clean the dirt, mud, snow, ice ect. from it, should work fine

Some vehicles have a manual valve in the cross-over line-- could that be closed-!

The plugged vent is a possibility.

I fiddled with the ball valves on the crossover line and they're open.... I think it's something to do with the crossover line because they won't balance even with the caps off both tanks. Looks like I have to empty the tanks and blow ou the crossover line and make sure it flows.

Leaving the caps off for a while should eliminate the vents. Is it cold enough to freeze if theres some moisture in the crossover?

It's been at or above freezing in Toronto so I don't think that's the issue. This truck needs a serious head-to-toe washing so maybe I'll do that and see if it gets me anywhere. At the very least, it will make it cleaner to work under there.

Yeah, I'd be eyeballing the lines now...perhaps some road debris damaged one of them and it's now so pinched off that theres no flow anymore - I experienced that myself once.
