Mine werent very tight either. I just taped the threads. Did you screw the fitting in a ways and then tighten the nut so it would squish the washers, instead of trying to thread the fitting all the way in? Just got back from running it for a while and no leaks, good so far. How did you decide to run the hoses? I ran them close to where the original lines went, but the long one that goes to the driver side cooler inlet, I ran over by the driver side frame and up through the plastic air dam piece so it basically crosses under the cooler and up on the drivers side instead of crossing in front of the cooler.

Sorry to resurrect this but I didn't see it earlier when I made my thread. I just had the same thing happen to me yesterday when I did my lines (had the issue when I had the top line off and I took the bottom one off and then she spit the coolant out ) and I have been freaking out for the past 24 hours lol. You guys ever have any negative effects?
Also another very stupid question, when you take the truck out for a drive stop and immediately check the tranny fluid is it normal to have some air bubbles come out on the dipstick?

Mines been fine since I put the new lines on. I don't know if I've ever seen bubbles on the dip stick when I check the fluid? Is it like foamy or just a few air bubbles?

Just did this test to see if I had water in my tranny fluid and it all checked out.
No boiling at all when I put the atf on the skillet.
