p0841, p0846, p0825 Allison

My trans was ok untill yesterday 5 min before work. I got in it day before and drive was blinking at me. put it in park and it shifted back from R to 1st no problem. parked it in the yard durring a rainy spell and backed up out of the field and when I changed from R to 1st it was going nowhere and the Edge programer said I was in 5th gear. I shut down ind paced it in park restarted and the same luck, went foward in 5th and parked it. got home from work and disconnected the Edge and all was ok as far as R and going into 1st. I noticed the service engine light and pulled codes p0841 p0846 and p0825 . Any ideas? I suspect a bad NSBU switch. The trans fluid is full and changed around 4000 miles ago with Ally fluid and spin on. No problems before this.

I am assuming you mean P0875 and not P0825. Those codes all point to a lack of priming. Could be converter drainback, cracked suction filter, not enough fluid....

When you shut it off and then restarted and it still went to 5th how long did you leave it keyed off in between?

How long was it parked before this happened?

I changed the NSBU and cleared all the codes and all is well. Plugs going into the NSBU were hard to get apart so it may have been oxidation. on the connections. code 825 was the gear lever push pull shift anticipate that one was odd but its gone.
