Transmission Cooler fitting Leaking, Repairable?

I have done some additional research since I posted my original thread 2003 transmission cooler line rad fittings
The leak appears to be on the lower transmission line between the bottom fitting and plastic cooler.

I have been told that this cannot be repaired and I'll have to replace the entire radiator. Is this correct or is there someway to repair the leak?

Yes,It's the trans cooler thats leaking. The pic is taken looking down from the top. The leak is at the lower fitting on the plastic tank located on the passenger side. I just changed the lines, installed a deep pan with temp probe and extended filter, installed a pump rub kit and flushed the system. 1 month later I noticed the leak at the front right corner. I changed the o-ring on the new line and shampooed the engine last weekend. I thought maybe the fitting was leaking (see pic below) but it appears to be the bung into the plastic tank that this Zippy connector threads into. I checked with the dealer and an independent rad shop and both said the rad has to be replaced.
Man I miss all metal parts that can be repaired...
