Ally shift points

hi group
has anyone made the ally shift sooner. and what is the outcome?
i dont need 1600 rpm to go through the subdivision. and im in a lot of creaping traffic 1/3 of commute.

Cab, Short Bed with canopy, No Engine Mods, Double Layer Technology Capacitors 1200 + Farads - I can start truck from recent shut down with batteries out of circuit and and a shorted cell battery does not stop me from cranking, type 4 hitch, pulling a 26ft Komfort - 10,000 lbs.; pulls very comfortabe compared with "ex" '72 suburban.
