4l80e stuck in second gear even starting off
changed shift solenoid, made no difference.Cleaned main trans plug in, and reassembled. Worked fine for week or so and started shifting back from fourth to third. Then started staying in second.

Kieth if you could check with the sticky. there is a checklist to fill out. filling it out can help out alot.
By the way Take off the passthrough connector and Verify voltage from pin E. It should be 12 volts to chassis ground. Verify to transmission ground as well. My bet it could be electrical. GB
