Goose neck hitch

I need to install a goose neck ball on the bed of my 2500 HD Duramax 4x4. I've had the welded on ball(fixed) on the bed in the past, however last year I owned a GMC Top Kick that had a receiver with a pin wich allowed me to remove the ball when not in use. I know there are tilt down units but I have been told that these are not very solid, in other words they have a lot of play in them.
Is there a company that sells a unit similar to the one I had on the Top Kick?

Thanks.

I have the B&W Gooseneck hitch in my truck and the Turnover Ball in my wife's one ton. They both work great, however I do like the B&W better as they have companion hitch if I want to tow a fifth wheel.

I also have the B&W in 2 of my trucks. It does have a little play, but I also use mine a lot harder than most people. All in all I will get another when the time comes.

my B&W ball has very little play, but some is required for insertion/removal. one of the cleanest and stoutest I have seen, install is very easy also. no mods or frame drilling on our trucks. my only gripe is I am going to have to make a cap to keep the crap from sitting in the pocket, should not be a big deal though. Putnam research is also one I looked at but like the B&W a lil' more. www.tandrtrailer.com has the best price and customer service as well.

B&W here too. Pulled a lot of weight with it and it has never failed. Install wasn't bad either. The Center section is one heavy MF though.

I could get it up there OK, But I couldn't hold it and bolt it up. I tied off a rope to it and passed it through the center section hole, up over a pipe in the bed and back down through the hole to me. I was then able to pull tension on the rope and keep the section up in the while I tied it off. The rest worked out fine.
