I am looking to get a toy hauler. Just trying to weight the pros and cons of both. This will my first trailer. I have owned the truck since new and have banks monster exhaust, edge tuner, and airraid kit

on a dually the pin weight on a 5er isn't a problem, my 03 the GCVWR is 22,000#, and the GVWR is 11,400#, so that is the minumin your 05 will be, and if the 05 has a higher GCVWR then you will be up against the GVWR of the truck, My truck and trailer weigh in at 23,500# and the truck is 11,000# with the trailer hooked up, 4400# on the front and 6600# on the drives, my 5er GVWR is 16,400#, so that should give you an idea.
