Getting money for DPF and converter

I am thinking of getting new 4 inch straight pipe exhaust and deleting my DPF and converter. Has anyone heard of people selling their they DPF and converter and getting money? If so where? I have a LMM and I live in AZ. Thanks!

Scrap yard will give you about 400 bucks for the precious metals in the DPF and cat....

Better hold on to all deleted exhaust stuff. Plug the ends with plumbing caps and store in a safe dry location. If inspections change in your state and you need to return to stock, you'll be glad you did.

It will cost you a lot more to replace it than what you will get for it. It's not a matter of if, but when they start doing visual inspections and they are already doing so in some places that might surprise you like places in TX etc.

To be honest, I kept mine, it was worth way more than 400 bucks to me. If you ever need it you will wish you did too. I have a theory that some of the guys buying them are doing so to stockpile them untill there is a market instead of scrapping them like they claim...
