Banks Boost Tubes = WOW LB7 & LLY
I installed the hot & cold side on my friends '03 LB7 and the hot side on my '06 LLY. The install was easy on both trucks and took no time. On the LB7 it is easiest to pull the airbox and the driver side fender liner to get the boots off. On the LLY we just pulled the driver side fender liner. The tubes fit perfect and slipped on easy. The new tubes are about 3/4" larger inside than the factory ones. Both truck run much better all around. Takes less throttle to get moving, egts are lower about 50*, more turbo whine on my LLY. Worth every penny.

We got them direct from Banks. The lb7 egt's dropped about the same as mine. Its harder to hear his turbo with the 5" turbo back exhaust, but it is a little louder than before.

The lb7 truck is mine. I didnt notice anymore turbo whine out of it. First impression was that my tuner was in extreme when it was in performance pulling it out of the shop. Part throttle is way more responsive. I would like to thank Kenny over at banks for getting us set up with these. Install was easy go through the fender well for the driver side tube. By the time we did the second truck we didnt even pull the fender liner. On my LB7 truck we pulled the Banks ram air box out and that tube was a breeze as well. The diameter of the driver side tube is a huge increase over stock. I havent noticed if the mph picked up as Ive been beating on the truck since we installed them. This is a inexpensive mod that I would recommend to anyone.
