There ya go. You know damn well you've paid way more and got way less for your money. Egt's are obviously what is going to improve the most. Buy it for that alone and be pleasantly surprised with everything else.

To buy it for economy reasons isn't dumb, but it will take a very long time to pay itself off even with straight distilled water. UNLESS... You can source your own parts and pieces and build your own.

I don't believe I posted it but I did find an AEM(?) pump on amazon as well as various kits associated with it. Don't quote me on this but I think it was around 150psi. I also found bulk methanol on there by the drum for less than $4/gal.

I'm still learning about nozzles, actuation, and am even curious what relays the pump will run off. Location is another big deal for me. Our winters are not friendly to anything with electrons running through it lol. I don't have a tool box yet, but I think that's where it will end up being housed when all is said and done. That might be where I house the agua too if I get one big enough. Left side will probably end up tools, filters, n fluids and the right side will be the fun side....

Did some surfing this afternoon, and you can get a complete almost new stage 3 coolingmist for about $500. If you can turn some knobs you can put one together for less, depending on how much the tank runs.

I believe most any plastic tank will do.

How big of a tank you want? Under $150 into my 27 gallon iirc. And straight meth is running $2.35 ish around here.

Too bad no one makes a water/meth tank that bolts up where the spare tire mounts.

You could always convert an auxilary fuel tank for use as well.

The "test" is still sitting on the shelf. everything looks the same, but I still havent done an sg reading 1.5 years later. haha been busy or lazy I guess

I've got one it's worth it (in the very long run) but it depends on the ratio you run and the kit you choose(how expensive the initial investment is). Just slowing down 5 mph and running smaller lighter tires Is probably a better idea if you want to save money. Methanol is costing me about $200 per 55gallon drum (where i'm at) and I buy distilled water to run with it. I didn't buy my truck to drive slow or run smaller tires. I was in it for the hp and the small amount of cooling it gives me towing. I got 40hp/100ft/lbs on the dyno. Depending on when I turn it on 3-4 psi it's anywhere from 3-5 mpg empty and 1-2 towing my 16k toy hauler.
