ADP down pipe rubbing on firewall need help.

I installed the adp down pipe with the egr delete yesterday. Ive drove the truck 50 miles and the down pipe is still rubbing on the firewall really bad. Its making the whole cab vibrate I'm to the point of just ripping it off and putting the stock one back on. It does it the worst when its in reverse and right before it shifts at about 2000rpm. I had to dent the downpipe in alittle just to get it in. Any ideas of what else I can do, I tried pushing in the firewall but that think is strong i couldnt dent it even with a hammer and a piece of wood.

Mine touches too. I stuck a pry bar back there and try to make some clearance but yeah it's stiff. It does seem to be getting better though the more I drive it. I'm gonna give it a week and if its still doing it in gonna pull it back out and do some mods. Definitely not gonna put the stock one back on though. I thought this thing ran good before. What a difference the deletes make...

Thats what I think I'm going to do, just give it some time and maybe it will wear in or something. How long have you had yours in for? Atleast I know its not only me having this problem and its amazing how much better they run when their not choked up.

I just put it on this weekend lol. The sound it makes when it's touching kind of reminds me of an old big block Chevy rumble...

I have read mixed reviews on this delete and been on the fence about it. I have read on other sites about moving the cab back and it helps. I don't know how to go about this but I figured I would pass it along.
Besides the rubbing, do you guys think its worth the 250.00?

How was the EGR delete to install? Time? any problems or special tools needed?

It was a royal PITA haha. It took about 10 hours start to finish with the down pipe. Didnt need any special tools, mainly used a 10,12 and 13mm socket. And the same size ratchet wrenches. The hardest part was the 3 up pipe bolts on the top. Maybe its just because of the winter fuel its getting worse mpg. Spool up is faster and alot less smoke. The only real problem was the dp hitting the firewall, it is still hitting after 1500 miles, ill just let it rub till spring.
