Question: Banks IQ vs Edge Insight for LMM?

I have been tossing them around but need a few questions answered. Can the IQ read Egt's or do you need the six gun with the pyro to do so? It seems like you need to have the six gun in order in order to use all the features the IQ offers. Where as with edge they sell the addon's to stack on top for egt, turbo timer, and so on. Anybody have either above and have good or bad things to say about it. Please correct me if im wrong. Thanks

You will need the six gun with the egt probe that inserts into the manifold. Also there is a law called the Magnusson xxxx Law that states the factory can't void your warranty unless they can prove the tuner or other modifications caused the part failure. Been there and done that. Now you may have to pay the repairs upfront and sue the factory for repairs, lawyer & court cost. My opinion is the Banks is a safe tuner for you this is the second truck I installed on with no issues thus far? Goodluck with whatever you decide.

Thanks man I got a buddy at Bank's so I going to go with the 6 Gun with IQ untill warranty expires. Then I will move to PPE or EFI with EGR block and delete.
