evolution race on high mileage LBZ
My truck is an 06 LBZ crew cab long bed 3500 SRW 4X4 with 275000 miles.
engine runs good trans shifts good, I have added a transgo JR and deleted the cat. question is what would be safe setting on My evolution has 7 settings available. I do tow a 14000 lb. 5th wheel at times but mostly just an every day driver. have towed on #3 with no issues, mad a pass down the street on level 5 just for a feel of it [not loaded of course] most towing around here is mostly level ground and I light foot it when towing. edge doesnt really say tow on this level,or run on this level ect.

From all the post I have ever read I thought level 2 is a tow tune.

well i`m not prepared to suffer the damage to My wallet,so #7 for everyday driving is out. think I may bounce between 3&4 just for fun. and looking at the vane actuator the Turbo braking works in 3 also,as You can push towhaul and the actuator percentage will go above 80% on decel and braking compared to 25 % on decel braking stock.

I have drag raced on level 5 and just a trans go jr and 5" exhaust. Did just fine many passes. Wasn't till level 6 and lost rail pressure half way down the strip and took out the torque converter. Still drove it for another 8 months with no stall in the TC. Now it's built and airdogs so it's always on level 7 unless towing.

Lol The highest level I run is 5 on the Evo race on a stocker. 6 and 7 get to high of egt's plus I blew out my toque converter mess around on 7.
