LML duramax cp3 pump mods

Is there anyone out there with mods for factory cp3 pump on LML durmax yet? I am running rail pressure low from time to time with hot tune. Has any tryed lift pumps on new trucks?

same trouble for me on the new lml

I would at least try a lift pump. The LML's don't run a CP3 they run a CP4.2 higher pressure pump but seems to be less volume is what they are finding. I don't think there is anything out for the CP4 pump yet.

You do realize changing the pump on these new trucks would be an atrochious job

wicked diesels has a modified CP4.2 I believe.

Try a lift pump first.

Yes.... The 6.7 runs basically the same exact fuel system as the LML. CP4.2 and Piezo injectors

Thats proably good. The aftermarket will have more trucks to sell to if they mod pumps. Still hope lift pump will solve my problem. Much easier and cheaper till I want more HP LOL!! Lets see if not happy with 500hp to wheels will need cp4 upgarade, turbo (allready running 1550 EGT) built trans, ect.. That would be a expensive jump!

I wouldn't bother unless EFI Live gets into tuning them
