But if you cut the bazooka section and weld the tip on that it should still work to cool the tip and look good also.

Although the bazooka helps pull air through it, the swedged down section in the main pipe is where the air is speeding up to pull cool air in to cool the tip.

But is there a decent looking tip out there large enough to weld to the center section of the bazooka?

the banks intake did make a difference to the mileage by about 10-15% depending on what i was doing ie towing vs just empty of the freeway. it seems to pull a bit stronger with no noticeable noise increase on the intake other than when it's cold and you get on it it sounds a bit different. Jeff from Banks said that the dyno results that they posted were not bs and i have to agree that the difference is there. yes the tip is just shiny fluff but the pilgrim shooter that stuck out the back prior was just shitty looking all be it practical, the banks one is cooler during re-gen too apparently.
