aFe plumbing to Banks Technicooler?

I am running a Banks Technicooler and I want to upgrade my pluming. Banks offers a bigger pipe for the driver's side, but after looking around I found that aFe has a package that replaces both sides. I am wondering if there would be any problem of the pipes not connecting well to the intercooler being that they are two different brands. Any info would be greatly appriciated.

AFE doesn't make a cold side intercooler tube for the LBZ.

Here is what I am looking at on alligatorperformance.com:

AFE 45-00087 Intercooler Tube Combo Pack - Fits 04.5-07 GM 6.6L Duramax

Here is a link: http://www.alligatorperformance.com/...ax-p-6219.html

I just wanted to make sure this would work before I ordered it.

Like I said, AFE does not make a cold side intercooler tube that fits an LBZ.

Your going to have to elaborate because that kit says cold and hot side pipes. '04.5-'07 which means for lly and lbz trucks.

I don't know how more specific I can be. Buy the kit and post up how it works if you don't believe me.

The cold (passanger) side tube uses a quick connect coupler and a regular boot won't work. You can only change the drivers side tube.

I meant and should have said "Would you elaborate ..."

From what I can tell the manufacturer says they make it and you state they do not. What is it that you know that I (we) do not here?
Have you tried this before and found out it will not work?

I just want to find out because I am seriously trying to figure out which pipes to get myself in a few weeks and this kit says it will do the job.

in order to upgrade the passenger side intercooler pipe you have to get a pipe such as the egr delete pipe from rdl or tony. if you look at the passenger side there really isnt a pipe on the lbz. its the intake manifold then a plastic piece then a boot to the intercooler

I'm following.... Man do I feel dense right now....
I have been looking at all the different delete pipes (manufactured and homemade) and thats all I could picture being in there. Not the OEM mess.
