2 Cycle Oil Yay Or Nay?

I started using 2 cycle CW3 as a lubricity agent to give my engine a break using ultra low sulpher fuel. Now i am starting to hear things like, waste of time and money, will damage your engine, NEGATIVITY PERSONIFIED.On the other hand users are saying its the best bang for the buck in aiding lubricity. So my question is BAD-GOOD- OR SOMWERE IN THE MIDDLE?have there been any studys by profesionals to answer the question, or is it a case of the good old boys saying "it works dang good in my bass boat,so it for shore gonna work in my max"!

Also in the November 09 issue of Diesel Power magazine they published an article where they tested 2-cycle oil with positive results.

I run a pint, in every fill up. If I don't, the idle will begin to wander. Cheap insurance. My son was telling about a survey, done on another web site, where they were tying it out in gasser motors. The consensus was improved fuel milage.
