CP3 leaking fuel into crank case?

Dealer is trying to back out of replacing my injectors under special campaign because it passed the fuel return test. Tech says the injection pump is leaking fuel into the crank case. I say B.S. injector body is probably cracked. I am not running a lift pump, so the question is has anyone else documented a case of a CP3 leaking fuel into the crank case that wasn't caused by a lift pump. And, would this lead to not being able to build up commanded rail pressure.

Don't let them pimp you.....Cp3's don't leak into the crankcase, injectors do.

that is stupid why would your dealer try and lie about that. it is a very common for injectors to fail. would gm stand behind them for 200k if they were not going to fail!! i would take it some place else, to bad you are not closer we would take care of it.

Ask that well trained TECH how the hell is the CP3 making the ral psi it needs to if it is a leaker.......

Also ask him how he can be sure since the failure rate in CP3's is so well documented...

What a clown, I wouldn't let him change my lawnmower engine oil if I was watching him.........

Good Luck.

Thanks guys, I am not trying to beat the dealer into submission, just trying to let them know that they aren't going to pull the wool over my eyes. I have heard other horror stories of poor diagnostics costing unknowing customers lots of money and because they don't know any better, they just pay it. If I wanted to pay for this problem, I would fix it myself so I could at least be sure that I did my best to do the repairs correctly.

If the dealer and/or tech is trying to pull this crap with you, do you still want them to work on your truck even if you convinced them you were right?

If it were me, I would try another dealer if possible....
