It blocked mine on my 06. You just have to run a power tune..

You get those two things done and you will see a big change for the better...if you tow heavy the 90hp may not be to good on your truck...I towed very heavy with the 40hp tune and never had any problems..

Remember to try the tune we talked about in your other thread. Let me know what you think

BK, do you think running like you suggest vs the 40hp tune? i pull a serious and long grade out of san diego on my way to the desert, coolant temps usually seem to be more of an issue than EGTs. this is the heaviest my 5er has ever been and i suspect its in excess of 16k lbs thanks to a 4wd gmc jimmy inside....

As far as coolant temp between the two tunes seem to be the same on hill...so close I havent been able to tell a difference. what I can tell you is that I have had to back off the throttle do to egts several times on lvl1 and very seldom on the way I tune. My coolant temps jump on either tune and cool off about the same but I do know that I can stay on the power longer with the no fuel tune because my egts are in the safe zone. Either way I end up backing off for coolant temps at around 240*. Pisses me off my truck wont cool off till I back off to under 3/4 throttle on medium hills and wont cool much at all on steep grades until I top out.
I also I get about 1.5mpg better mileage over lvl1 when towing. lvl1 is the worst on mpg of the tunes.
