EGR delete kit

Has anyone used the EGR delete kit with up pipe from All season diesel performance? And what are the benifits over just using a blocker plate?

The best part about using the up pipe is that it allows you to take out the egr cooler and open up some room in the engine bay. It made a pretty big difference to me.

is its good enough to just block? had a blocker plate installed on my lbz and just wondering if its good enough. I feel my mileage dropped a lot since but need to do more testing.

Yeah the blocker plate is fine to stop the exhaust from entering the intake. If you decide to do the egr delete from All Season you should see some fuel milage increase, I know I did! I just checked mine and I'm averaging 19.5 the past couple of tanks

I dont know if the blocker will help increase mileage but it certainly wont reduce it. I did'nt notice any difference when I installed my plate. As far as the delete goes I dont have a Diesel Addiction delete kit and it looks way better under the hood, and it may be my imagination but my coolant temp seems to be a little lower now.

my mileage dropped since egr delete quite a bit...but i like the way it runs with the race tuner. Before i could use level 2, smoked on all levels. Now it doesnt smoke and just runs perfect. The gauge drops like a stone now i was hoping it would at least stay the same i was getting as high as 23.7 with 35's on hwy before and dropped well under 20. Now with winter fuel lucky to be at 15
