CTS Wont work with truck after Flash

Ok, So im making the change to EFI live on my 2001 duramax. Since PPE programmer lost my stock setting my truck was stuck on level 10. So my buddy read that the 2001 operating was touchy anyways so he loaded the 2002 operating system in my truck befor we started making tunes. So far were just tweaking our tunes little by little so i only have on tune in at a time. But out plan is to use my CTS monitor to control the tunes similar to the DSP switch. But once we loaded the 02 operating system and a tune and i plug my CTS in it says something along the lines of "does not operate with these PIDs system will shut down"

Any idea what i can do to get my CTS to work again befor resorting to going back to the 2001 operating system??

Got ahold of Edge and i think they answered my problem. They said i need to jump up to a 2003 operating system. They have seen issues with the 01-02 befor wiht efi live. Hopefully this works.

Which 02 OS did you go with? The 6006 02 OS is VERY stable, and functionally identical pretty much to an 03-04 OS.

Im not sure what operating system my buddy chose hes my efi live guy. but the edge guy said 03 would work better. is there diff 02s??

theres about 4 different 02 OS's that I know of. As for the 03-04 044 OS, there can be some serious issues going that route. The 01-02 OS's are all written for the same basic option packages and can be interchanged for the most part without losing cruise, A/C, or other interior features. 03-04 OS's are written specifically for the vehicle that teh tune is going in. Put in a tune with the wrong segment in it and you could lose your cruise control, A/C, power windows, or any other interior options. try out a 6006 02 OS. It is basically the same as the 03-04 OS, but works in the 01-02 trucks without issues.

I was told im running the 6006 OS now. So that sucks cuz if i cant use my EDGE for guages or as a DSP its worthless to me. Were gonna see what we can do with an 03 OS i guess.
